History of Islamic philosophers

In this book, Muhammad Lutfi Juma monitors the factors that led to the deterioration and decline of the Islamic world, and stresses the necessity of its revival through the efforts of children without relying on major countries such as England and France. It is based on a historical and philosophical study to confirm that the East, including Egypt, is rich in its wealth but poor in its people, which calls for thinking about its future with independent thinking and building its countries through its own efforts.

محمد لطفي جمعة، الكاتب والمترجم والروائي المصري، وُلد في الإسكندرية عام 1886 لأسرة من الطبقة الوسطى، ونشأ وسط تأثير الزعيمين الوطنيين مصطفى كامل ومحمد فريد، حيث شكلوا صداقة وطيدة وتعاونوا في الكفاح السياسي ضد الاستعمار. درس في مدارس متعددة وحصل على إجازة من كلية الحقوق في فرنسا عام 1912، وعمل كمدرس وناشط ثقافي وفكري، مساهمًا في تطوير الفكر الإنساني والتعليم المجاني، إضافةً إلى ترجمته لأعمال عديدة من الأدب العالمي إلى العربية. أصيب بجلطة دماغية ألمت به لفترة طويلة، قبل أن يرحل عن عالمنا بسبب مضاعفات المرض.
