The founding journey of the art of theater in our Arab world was limited at the beginning, as its pioneers studied in the hands of great teachers before being transferred to us. And if their first experiences were somewhat simple, they were essential and indispensable. Were it not for these experiences, our Arab theater would not have reached its current position. Among these loyal soldiers of the theater was Maroun Abboud, who in his wonderful style has gone beyond many prominent texts. In this play, we define the tragedy of Sheikh Al -Kabir Fernan, who was surprised by a series of successive losses. After his injury to the loss of two young sons, their two wives caused them to sadness. His sad heart remained in his heart, the boy Emile, who did his best to comfort his father's bereaved heart. Will you be accompanied by the sad sheikh, or will you bring him more challenges?

مارون عبود: الشخصية الرائدة في النهضة الأدبية الحديثة في لبنان، هو كاتب صحفي وروائي ساخر وقصاص بارع وشاعر يتميز بحيائه. لم يقتصر إبداعه في ميدان الأدب، بل تجلى أيضًا كناقد أبهر نقاده بإجلالهم واحترامهم. يتألق كمؤرخ ومسرحي، ويعد من الزعماء في ميدان الفكر والفن في العصر الحديث. حاز مارون عبود على العديد من الأوسمة، منها وسام المعارف من الدرجة الأولى، ووسام الاستقلال من الدرجة الثانية. أثر بإيجابية في المكتبة العربية من خلال مؤلفاته الأدبية والشعرية والنقدية كـ "نقدات عابر"، و"تذكار الصبا"، و"زوابع". ودعته الحياة في عام ١٩٦٢م.
