The novel "The Wild Beast" depicts a profound human tragedy, starring a French woman named Madeleine, who lived a life filled with happiness, purity, and love in her youth. However, fate turned the tables on her when she was forcibly married to a wealthy, tyrannical, and cruel man, condemning her to years of injustice and humiliation. Despite her patience in the face of the psychological and physical torment she endured, she did not break in the face of the cruelty. Instead, she held on to her hope for her two children: one bore the features of her first love and his sweet nature, while the other resembled his father in his cruelty and deviant behavior. However, a grave event was the straw that broke the camel's back, causing her to lose her mind and plunge her into the abyss of madness and poverty. In a moving, realistic style, Tawfik Azouz depicts how unfulfilled love and oppressive injustice can destroy the most beautiful souls, and how a person becomes a victim of a bitter fate amidst the conflict of values ​​between purity and corruption, innocence and cruelty. It is a poignant novel about the secrets of broken hearts and the depths of human pain.
