In this book, we will address many plays, acting teams and roles that have passed without leaving a living heritage that affects our generation and future generations. This chapter will be full of all the representations that were represented in Egypt and abroad, whether by translating, Arabizing or composing it. Although archaeologists still disagree about the knowledge of the ancient Egyptians in theatrical art, the certainty remains for the theater for the ancient Greeks. In the Arab world, the art of theater has arisen since the mid -nineteenth century by "Maroun Al -Naqash", which is a pioneer of this art. "Mohamed Mandour" reveals in his book "The Theater" about the emergence and development of theatrical art, reviewing its types and the emergence of ancient folk art that prepared the field for the spread of modern theater. The writer also reviews prominent plays and developments in this field, and presents his criticism of issues related to theatrical art.
