Several human feelings are mixed in that novel; Love and its dependencies that can change the human being, despair and the torture of conscience when one committed what he regrets, and what leads to life. Those conflicts appear through real historical facts worthy, mixing with personal events of the protagonists of the novel: "Vidor" and "Vannca". In a literary narrative style, the writer conveyed their closest story to the tragedy, which reflects the conditions of Russian society in an era of history, the injustice was the first basis in government, and the Sharif was not punished even if he was a criminal, while the poor insulted even if he was innocent. Will "Vanca" survive with her heinous act, or does she expose her "the secret of confession" that the priest did not preserve?
