Pia Varjas is a pen name with a deeply personal meaning. She is an avid traveler who loves discovering new places, whether within Germany or around the world. Exploring different cultures and noticing the small regional quirks that make each place unique is one of her greatest joys.

She is passionate about hiking, and living right next to the Palatinate Forest suits her perfectly. When she's not wandering through the woods, she's often drawn to the Alps, where she enjoys the mountain air and sweeping views.

Pia is also a devoted roller coaster enthusiast; for her, a day at an amusement park is a day of feeling like a kid again. She adores Hungarian food and has an oddly specific love for the smell of fresh celeriac.
