Perfect Strangers

"He was standing just a few metres away in the kitchen doorway. A black, slender figure, a silhouette like something out of an old crime film. At first he thought he was hallucinating, but then the contours became sharper. There was a man standing in their house! A tall man dressed in black was standing in the doorway watching them have sex!"

This is the story of Martin and Albert, who, on their anniversary of all days, meet a mysterious stranger who disrupts their hostile coexistence. Filmmaker Phillip Xia adapted the erotic thriller into a feature film starring Daniel Rhyder and Sten Jacobs.

André Schneider is an actor, writer, educator and translator. Born and raised in Germany, he lived in London and Berlin before settling in Strasbourg, Alsace. He made a name for himself with his roles in the films "One Deep Breath" (A. Hickling), "Les Fantômes" (A. Vallès), "Sur les traces de ma mère" (I. Hansen) and "Perfect Strangers" (P. Xia). His biography of Austrian actress Marisa Mell, published in 2013, served as the basis for a documentary film.
