The case of the century

February 28, 1986. Two gunshots echo through the streets of Stockholm, forever changing the nation. Almost every Swede remembers where they are when the news breaks. Some are walking along Sveavägen. Others wake to a shattered morning.

This book examines the assassination of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. It reconstructs the events of that night and confronts the questions that still linger: Who is responsible? How can such a crime happen in the heart of Sweden?

With a background from the Royal Institute of Technology, I approach the case from a scientific standpoint, melding documented facts with careful analysis and personal reflections.

I am a Swedish writer publishing in English under a pseudonym. For eight years, I have dedicated myself to researching the assassination of Olof Palme and participating in discussions about the case. The case of the century is my debut book.
