نعوم مكرزل (1866 – 1937) صحفي وناشر لبناني-أمريكي، يُعد من أبرز رواد الصحافة العربية في المهجر. وُلد في قرية بكفيا بلبنان، ثم هاجر إلى الولايات المتحدة عام 1890 حيث أسس في نيويورك جريدة "الهدى" عام 1898، التي أصبحت من أوسع الصحف العربية انتشارًا بين الجاليات العربية في أمريكا الشمالية. لعبت جريدته دورًا مهمًا في توعية المهاجرين العرب والدفاع عن قضاياهم الاجتماعية والسياسية، كما كانت منبرًا للأدباء والكتاب المهجريين. عُرف مكرزل بجهوده في دعم فكرة النهضة العربية والدعوة إلى الاستقلال والتحرر من الهيمنة العثمانية، وأسهم في تكوين هوية ثقافية وسياسية للجاليات العربية في المهجر. وظل أثره بارزًا في تاريخ الصحافة العربية الأمريكية حتى بعد وفاته.
