Philosophy of Light

In his book "The Philosophy of Light," the polymath Ibn al-Haytham commemorates his scientific revolution, which changed humanity's concept of vision and optics. He was interested in algebra, geometry, and ophthalmology, and he developed pioneering ideas for harnessing the waters of the Nile by constructing reservoirs to regulate irrigation.
