Years pass, and their winds blow over our bodies, extinguishing the light of some people as they depart this world, and lighting the candles of others. This world's memory retains only the painful and sad, offering it as a historic gift to those who enter it. The Egyptian Al-Salam ferry, which sank in 2006, was not erased from the memory of those touched by this tragedy. 1,070 souls perished, and only 414 survivors survived the sinking of this ferry. Most of them spent one, two, or three days caught in the fire and drowning at sea, facing its turbulent waves and the extreme cold of its waters, amidst the delay in rescue efforts.
