My son teaches me

The author did not content himself with narrating his experience with birth, with all its joyful details and heavy responsibilities, but he delved into the depths of the experience, to extract its wisdom and live its magnificence, through a human, paternal, philosophical perspective, which the author wrapped in a literary style, through which he attempted to reach "what is beyond existence, with the most beautiful thing in existence."

وائل السمري.. شاعر، وكاتب صحفي، يعمل نائبًا لرئيس تحرير جريدة "اليوم السابع"، ورئيسًا للقسم الثقافي، له ديوان بعنوان: "الساقي" صدر 2011. حصل على عدد من الجوائز، منها الجائزة الأولى لمسابقة "كتاب اليوم"، والجائزة الأولى لمسابقة "ديوان الشعر" بوزارة الثقافة. كتب العديد من القصائد المغناة، منها قصيدة "الشعب يريد" و"أوبريت الحرية لسوريا" وهما من ألحان الموسيقار العراقي نصير شمة.
