A first for Gigi

Crossing the lines between the real and the virtual, Muhammad Hamama - and his narrator - traces the story of Farah and Cici. The story moves between Cairo and Mansoura, and reveals the world of middle-class youth, with all their complexities and structures. Farah tries to escape from the trap of the image that was drawn of her. From this attempt, an experience whose dimensions are unknown begins. An experience that makes everything new. It makes love a strange experience. She carved out of herself someone she never knew existed. Is it possible to weave a logical story from the contradictions of these characters? Nobody knows. But it is, at least, worth a try.
