One day, the Alexandrians became able to fly, only within their city, so none of them were able to fly outside it, and no one else was able to fly in it, or outside of it. Why? And how? Who are the seagull worshippers? Is there anyone who wants evil in this country? Does Engineer Ali actually see Satan? Is all you need is a skin-lightening cream and a handsome groom? What is the reason for flying in the first place? In whose interest? All these questions, and more, this novel does not care to answer, but rather its author attempts to narrate what he remembers of what happened in the Old City (which some love madly, and others hate like the plague) in the years AD The confusion that followed in the fall of 2005, when people flew for the first time.
