The plight of political Islam

This book represents an attempt to read the transformations of thinking in our Arab world since the appearance of the first renaissance on the Western political civilizational scene. Since the mid-fifties of the last century, the nationalist movement began to take its place on the intellectual scene until the defeat of 1967 came, which hastened the handover of the banner to the Islamic movement, which began with advocacy and ended with Politics, reaching the seats of government in both Egypt and Tunisia through the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the Ennahdha Party in Tunisia. The two authors participated through a journey of mental and intellectual dialogue and exchange of opinions and viewpoints throughout the content of the entire book, in an attempt to formulate a consensual intellectual dialogue about the elements, ideas, and visions contained in this book. y
