Egypt taught the world

James Henry Breasted called it: the dawn of conscience... because the history of humanity was darkness before the history of ancient Egyptian civilization. Breasted was not the only one who was fascinated by this great history. Jean-François Champollion was also so fond of it that he said: "Imagination falters and falls motionless under the feet of ancient Egyptian civilization."
