Über das eBook

Can "understanding the flower" be a path to "understanding the soul"? In his interesting book, "Buddhist Mysticism and Psychoanalysis," Buddhist thinker D. T. Suzuki navigates us into a unique intellectual world that combines the wisdom of the East with the visions of the West to understand the depths of the human soul. The book sheds light on Buddhist mysticism in the Zen sect, which focuses on the importance of self-awareness and intuition as a path to reaching truth, and brings it closer to psychoanalysis, which is concerned with studying the subconscious mind and the motives of human behavior. The book does not stop at the borders of theoretical comparison, but rather delves into deep topics such as the subconscious, the self, and psychological defense mechanisms, to provide us with an insightful vision that reveals aspects of convergence between two apparently distant intellectual schools of thought, but they come together at a fundamental point, which is a person's understanding of himself and the world around him.
