The plays of Aeschulus

The Plays of Aeschulus is a collection of theatrical works written by the Greek playwright Aeschulus, known as the "Father of Tragic Theatre." These plays deal with themes of justice and revenge, based on Greek mythology, and reflect the conflict between the human will and the will of the gods. Among the most prominent works in this collection The Agamemnon Trilogy, The Sacrificing Bearers, and the Mistresses of Vengeance, as well as other plays such as The Persians and Bound Prometheus. Aeschulus developed the form of tragic theater, introducing the distribution of roles between actors and the use of chorus for audience interaction.

أيسخولوس يورفوريون (525 ق.م - 456 ق.م) هو كاتب مسرحي إغريقي يعد من أعظم الكتّاب في التاريخ الأدبي. وُلِد في أثينا لعائلة نبيلة، وتُعتبر مسرحياته مرآةً للأحداث التاريخية والبطولات التي شهدتها اليونان القديمة. يُعتبر أيسخولوس أول من أدخل تعدد الممثلين في المسرح، مما عمق التفاعل الدرامي وأثرى الأداء المسرحي. ألّف أكثر من تسعين مسرحية، لكن لم يتبقَ منها سوى سبع. من أهم أعماله "الأودببوديا" و**"الأوريستيا"**، وقد توفي في جيلا بصقلية.
