We learned that he was from Port Said and that he did not have the means to rent a room to sleep in and that most of his band members were from Cairo and that they might be able to host him, but he might sometimes have to sleep in a microbus that only worked at night to transport musical instruments and then would remain parked all day in front of the Vendôme Hotel. عادل أسعد بولس الميري (مواليد 1953)، هوأديب ومترجم وطبيب مصري. ولد عادل أسعد الميري في القاهرة سنة 1953 وعاش طفولته وصباه في مدينة طنطا. حصل عادل أسعد الميري علي بكالوريوس الطب من جامعة عين شمس عام 1980، ثم علي ترخيص إرشاد سياحي عام 1984، وبعدها علي دبلوم في الأدب الفرنسي من السوربون عام 1994، ثم إتجه إلي دراسة الآثار وحصل علي الدبلومة من كلاً من كلية الآثار قسم مصري عام 1997 وكلية الآثار قسم إسلامي عام 1999، ثم بدأ عام 2002 لست سنوات بتدرس اللغة العربية للأجانب لمدة ستة سنوات. لعادل أسعد الميري العديد من المؤلفات والترجمات.
