Maylis de Kerangal
The writer Mylès de Kerangal was born in 1967 in Toulon, and spent her childhood in Le Havre. After studying history, philosophy and ethnology in Paris, she began working at the Gallimard Youth Foundation in 1991. In 1998, she decided to continue her university studies in social sciences in Paris. Her first novel, "I Walk Under a Changing Sky," was published by Vertical Publishing in 200.
Among her most important works is "The Birth of a Bridge", Vertical Publishing House, 2000; Winner of the Franz Hessel Prize and the Medicis Prize, 2010). and "Towards the East" (Landrenau Prize, 2012).
The novel "Healing the Living" won the following awards: Student Novel Prize - France Culture-Télérama in 2014; RTL Grand Prix Lier - (Radio Television Luxembourg) 2014; Orange Book Prize in 2014; Charles Brisset Literary Prize; Readers' Prize L'Express Weekly 2014; Rollie Award for Travelers with Europe 1; Parisdero Prize - Free Spirits 2014; Best novel of 2014 according to "Lear" magazine; Pierre Isbell Prize in 2014; Agrippa Daubinier Prize in 2014.
Méliès de Keranjal also won the Grand Prix Henri Galle for Literature 2014 for her entire body of work; She is a member of Inculte magazine. Afaq Publishing House will publish her novels: "A World Within Reach" and "Birth of a Bridge" in the coming period.

مايليس دو كِرانجال: واحدةٌ من أهمِّ رِوائيي فرنسا، حصَدت الكثيرَ من الجوائز الأدبية، وتُرجِمت أعمالُها إلى الكثير من اللُّغات العالمية.

وُلدت عام ١٩٦٧م بمدينة طولون الفرنسية. درسَت التاريخ والفلسفة والإثنولوجي بجامعة باريس، وبدأت العملَ في مؤسسة جاليمار للشباب عام ١٩٩١م، وفي عام ١٩٩٨م قرَّرت مواصَلة دراستها الجامعية في العلوم الاجتماعية في باريس.
