Greek myth and self-preservation

In this book, Giuseppe Conte highlights the characters and heroes of Greek myth, its relationship with the human soul, and its close connection to man, his ideas, and his tendencies. The writer presents images of Greek gods and heroes from a new perspective. They are flows of energy that pass through the human soul without stopping, even if they vary in appearance. Itself versus another new reality that derives its value from technology, economics, and money, whatever the cost. However, even though the soul is still subjected to an attack exactly similar to that of nature, and despite the amount of corrupt darkness that has succeeded in infiltrating it, it is still vibrant with its motives, emotions, motivations, memories, and desires, and this is what the author confirms in the pages of Greek myth and the preservation of the soul.

جوسيبي كونتي (1945)، هو أحد أبرز الشعراء المعاصرين في إيطاليا. وُلد في إمبيريا شمال غربي إيطاليا، وانجذب منذ قصائده الأولى في سبعينيات القرن الماضي إلى أراضي الأساطير السحيقة، بوصفها رافداً لإغناء الشعر واستجلاء اللامرئي، وهو الانجذاب الذي قاده عام 1995، بعد أن تقوّى في نصوصه وفي تصوّره النظري للشعر، إلى تأسيس حركة سمّاها "الميثو-حداثة".

صدرت للشاعر الإيطالي عدة مجاميع شعرية منها: "المواسم" 1988، "أغاني الشرق والغرب" 1997، "حوار بين الشاعر والرسول" 1992، "المحيط والفتى" 2002، و"جروح وإزهارات" 2006.
