It was said about the book Al -Muwatta that it is the best book that was brought out to people during his reign, then what he made of his pottery is a book that was brought out after him. Al -Shafi'i, may God have mercy on him, said: "What appeared on the earth is a book after the Book of God, more correct than the Book of Malik." And this saying before the emergence of Sahih Al -Bukhari. Al -Bukhari said on the authority of al -Muwatta: Imam Malik himself said about his book: "I presented this book on seventy jurists from the scholars of the city, so they all and sought help from it, so I called it the Muwatta."
