Roman stories

The Romanians have long struggled for the independence of their national language and identity that the colonists have been trying to obliterate or at least to adapt it. Initially, the Roman language of Latin origins was subjected to deep Slavic effects of the surrounding peoples, then the Turkish occupation, which lasted for centuries and its effects appeared in the language and culture that almost disappeared under the weight of these successive western waves. However, the Roman intellectual had the last word in reviving the authentic identity by reviving the heritage and great interest in Roman literature and its development to catch up with international literature. "Mohamed Mandour" reviews in this book some texts of Roman literature in its various schools that monitor political, social and economic tibes in Romania after the Second World War, with a brief presentation of the most important pioneers of the short Roman story and its elders.
