Al -Marzabani intended in his book - which is the first of its kind among the books of the translations of poets - to investigate the mention of the poets as a whole, even at least 5,000 names included him, as he mentioned "Ibn Al -Nadim". First: "The chapter mentioned by his name Amr", and in every chapter a short translation and examples of the poet's poetry, the book ends with "a chapter mentioned by his name Yusuf", then "Chapter of Names from Al -Yaa" is a group, which is the names of separate poets, its first letters (ya), Then "a chapter of those whose nickname dominated his name", and it contains the names of unknown poets, and the overwhelming Arabs of whose names did not fall, and he was limited to mentioning their nicknames and tribes, and he stipulated them on the letters of satire without translating them.
