The basis of rhetoric

The basis of rhetoric is a book written by Abu al -Qasim Mahmoud bin Amr bin Ahmed, Al -Zamakhshari (died: 538 AH). The book is one of the most important ancient linguistic dictionaries that are concerned with Arabic words and their rhetoric; The compiler mentioned the linguistic metaphors, literary benefits and the expressions of rhetoric, and the materials of the book have arranged an alphabet according to the letters of the dictionary. The method of the author's presentation of the book is that he explains the word in Arabic, restrict the explanation of the Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet, and the poems and Arabic proverbs, and then mention the metaphorical uses of the explanatory word.
