The book shows that not having a normal weight is not an individual problem, but rather that it is due to the economic, political and nutritional environment.

Peter was born in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 1940, lived for 10 years in Hamburg, 10 years in Munich, and then in Istria, Croatia. His self-employment as an IT consultant involved sedentary work and a diet consisting of meals from canteens or restaurants. At times, even these options were unavailable. But to cope with the stress, there was always a coffee machine and vending machines with sweets. There was no time for exercise. And so, fate took its course.
