Born in Berlin, Michael F. Hartung is an author, entrepreneur, and senior banking and business development expert with more than three decades of international experience across Europe and Asia. His career sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and leadership, covering corporate finance, risk management, project and change management, and financial systems.

Beyond technical expertise, Michael focuses on the human elements of business—decision-making, leadership mindset, and the dynamics that define organizational success. Alongside his executive roles, he spent more than a decade in academia, integrating practical experience with research and teaching. His background in Lean, Six Sigma, and NLP allows him to connect operational excellence with behavioural insight and turn complexity into clear, actionable frameworks.

As Co-Founder of Magellan Group, he has supported entrepreneurs, investors, and private equity partners in developing talent and strengthening business strategy. His mission has been consistent: enhance success predictability, build leadership capability, and help founders create resilient, value-driven ventures.

Michael’s career also includes periods of adversity, which he met with resilience and integrity, further shaping his understanding of leadership under pressure. In 2024, he returned after 20 Years in Asia to Europe to expand his programs and explore opportunities across Europe and Africa.
