Andromache is a masterpiece of classical French theater. جان راسين (Jean Racine، 1639–1699م) شاعر ومسرحي فرنسي كلاسيكي. كتب مآسي شعرية من أبرزها «فيدرا» و«أندروماك». امتاز أسلوبه بالتركيز على العاطفة الإنسانية المأساوية. ويُعد من أعظم كتّاب المسرح الفرنسي.
