Professor Muhammad Lutfi Gomaa presented to us a translation of three masterpieces of ancient Eastern literature, Egyptian, Japanese, and Persian. He opened it with the book "The Rule of Fatahotep," which includes a collection of morals, virtues, morals, and rights. Then we were treated to the book "Golestan Rawdat al-Ward" by the Persian poet Muslih al-Din Saad al-Shirazi, which contains within it the best wisdom, advice, asceticism, subtleties, and hadiths of the righteous and the wise. Finally, the book "The Advanced Education of Women in Japan" by the Japanese moral author Kaibaraiken, in which he explains how Japanese women were raised in the Renaissance era with etiquette and wisdom directed at women in an easy and enjoyable form, becoming the first popular book in Japan, and parents pass it on to their children, generation after generation, because of the content it contains. Great wisdom and etiquette. A book that opens a window to a rich heritage and diverse cultures full of wisdom and virtues.

محمد لطفي جمعة، الكاتب والمترجم والروائي المصري، وُلد في الإسكندرية عام 1886 لأسرة من الطبقة الوسطى، ونشأ وسط تأثير الزعيمين الوطنيين مصطفى كامل ومحمد فريد، حيث شكلوا صداقة وطيدة وتعاونوا في الكفاح السياسي ضد الاستعمار. درس في مدارس متعددة وحصل على إجازة من كلية الحقوق في فرنسا عام 1912، وعمل كمدرس وناشط ثقافي وفكري، مساهمًا في تطوير الفكر الإنساني والتعليم المجاني، إضافةً إلى ترجمته لأعمال عديدة من الأدب العالمي إلى العربية. أصيب بجلطة دماغية ألمت به لفترة طويلة، قبل أن يرحل عن عالمنا بسبب مضاعفات المرض.
