The Book of Countries is a book written by the writer, author and geographical Abu Al -Abbas Al -Yaqoubi and one of the oldest Arab geographical sources that we received from the days of Islamic differences. The author described many countries such as Iran, Turkestan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt and other countries of Asia and Africa as a smooth, abusive description that tends to mental and logical analysis, and he divided the region that covered it into four sections according to the division of the original parties
