In the world of ancient Egyptians
Über das eBook
This valuable book, first published in the 1920s, includes four concise books on the history of ancient Egypt. The first is "In the World of Ancient Egyptian History," which is a brief tour of the history of the thirty dynasties that shaped the history of ancient Egypt over three thousand years BC. The second is "A Word on the Civilization of the Ancient Egyptians," in which he starts from what Flinders Petrie, the famous explorer and historian of Egypt, said: "If one wants to understand the past of humanity and use that past for the present, that is the path to success in the future." The third book, "A Glimpse into Ancient Egypt," paints a panoramic picture of life in ancient Egypt, from the pharaoh to the common citizen, soldier, and peasant. It discusses the army, agriculture, tombs, temples, and even myths and legends. Finally, the fourth book, "Books and Affairs of the Ancient Egyptians," briefly explains the findings of Egyptologists regarding mummification and papyrus books. It also touches on the religion of the ancients, their gods, and their tombs, attempting to explore the secrets of immortality. It is noteworthy that all of these books deal with the history of ancient Egypt, and they are all by the same anonymous author who chose to sign his numerous books with the first two letters of his name—his name is simply "N.Y."
