إبراهيم عبد المجيد كاتب وروائي وقاص مصري كبير، أشهر أعماله (ثلاثية الإسكندرية)، حصل على الكثير من الجوائز المصرية والعربية، أشهرها جائزة نجيب محفوظ للرواية من الجامعة الأمريكية عن رواية (البلدة الأُخرى) 1996، وجائزة الدولة للتفوق في الآداب عن المجلس الأعلى للثقافة عام 2004، وجائزة كتارا للرواية العربية عن رواية (أداجيو) عام 2007، وجائزة النيل عام 2022.
