John and Diane Forrester decide to spend a weekend in Grand Marais, a small, isolated town on the north shore of Lake Superior.
Through a series of mysterious encounters, dark memories resurface for John. After waking up in a hospital room, his mind wavers between past and present - until a shocking thruth comes to light.

John Dorie, born on October 29, 1966, began his writing career with short stories before publishing novels. Inspired by the realism of 20th-century American literature, his passion for cinema and his literary influences are the driving forces behind his creative process.
