The pleasure of reading is much greater than the pleasure of writing, this is what the distinguished short story writer Abdul Sattar Nasser confirms. He draws the reader's attention in the introduction to his book to the fact that "after reading any interesting or useful book that interests me, I find my fingers writing in the margins around the rectangle of printed words in that interesting and useful book. And when I finish reading it, I return to collecting my margins and work on arranging their words and rewriting them.
