Mosques of the Prophet's family

Egyptians have a special love and attachment to the shrines of the Prophet's family and their numerous mosques in Cairo, home to dozens of mosques of historical and spiritual significance. These mosques are crowded with thousands of worshippers yearning for the Prophet's family throughout the year, especially during the nights of the holy month of Ramadan. Egyptians of all classes and from all governorates flock to the shrines of the Prophet's family and spend a night or more in one of these mosques, seeking blessings from their occupants, the Prophet's family, and praying.
