Omani Poetry and the Aesthetics of Reception - A Reading of "Selected Poems" by Saeed Al-Saqlawi

We chose "Theories of Reading and Reception" as a methodological approach among modern critical approaches to approach and read modern Omani poetry, represented by an important poet of Omani modernity, Saeed Al-Saqlawi. We found that this modern critical approach is the closest to dealing with the spirit of this poetry in many of its starting points. We adopted a special method in which we select selected poems from the collections of the poet Saeed Al-Saqlawi, which we believe are the most responsive to every detail of our research in revealing the aesthetics of expression and formation in Omani poetry, in a way that can provide a comprehensive idea about the relationship of the Omani poetic text to reception based on observation, inspection, monitoring, analysis and interpretation, to arrive at an approach that confirms that the nature of the poetic text is what sometimes imposes the method of critical treatment, in a way that critical practice arrives at appropriate qualitative solutions with high argumentation that refers to the efficiency of critical awareness and the critical personality working in The field.
