Aggression in Iraqi Fiction (2000-2020): A Study of Motives and Behavior
Über das eBook
When you choose the topic of "aggression" and write at a time when society is experiencing a revolution and massive demonstrations that extended from the beginning of the writing until its completion, and those demanding their rights were subjected to the most heinous forms of aggression, this in itself constitutes a suffering specific to the researcher; because she experiences aggression as other demonstrators do, and what is striking is that she also practices it. How does she practice it?! This is what provokes the reader: Is the researcher aggressive? Because she goes out with others to demand rights that have been publicly stolen, and after returning from the demonstration, she withdraws and secludes herself for the remainder of her day until the white thread is distinct from the black, in a room resembling a prison, a place she has become accustomed to for thirteen years, loving this closed cognitive isolation, free from everything except dim lighting. She is disturbed by any movement or any sound emanating from her, fearing it would interfere with her moments of reading, thinking, and contemplation. Thus, she practices an aggression against herself that prevents her from doing everything.
