صنع الله إبراهيم.. روائي مصري كبير ورائد أدب التوثيق التاريخي في الرواية العربية، ولد عام (1937 م)، عمل بوكالة الأنباء العربية عام (1967 م)، ثم وكالة الأنباء الألمانية في برلين الشرقية عام (1968 م)، وتفرغ للكتابة الحرة منذ العام (1975 م). ومن أبرز أعماله روايات.. اللجنة، تلك الرائحة، بيروت بيروت، وردة، ذات، شرف، نجمة أغسطس، العمامة والقبعة، أمريكانلي. نال عدة جوائز، كان أشهرها جائزة ابن رشد للفكر الحُر عام (2004 م)، وجائزة كفافيس للأدب عام (2017 م).
