Desert

It deals with the desert, its borders, area, and the nature of its composition, its climatic extremes, the most important factors of drought and barrenness, the plant, animal, and human life in the desert, exploration missions, and colonization agreements.
There is a difference of opinion regarding the origin of its name as a desert: some say that it was named so because it is a vast, deserted area, or because it is solid land, and both names respond to the reality of the situation: because the desert is actually a vast area, and because the "oysters" that occupy the largest part of its surface are rocky plateaus that are nine times higher than the level of the surrounding quicksand, as they say.
