Education
Über das eBook
Herbert Spencer (1820-1903), like other great philosophers, believed that the most direct path to righteousness and advancement was to be guided by nature and follow its Sunnah. He believed that the origin of evil and calamity was to stray from nature's straight path or to be blind to its luminous lamp. He denied that the education system in his country was straying from the sound method, so he wrote his famous book on the art of education, the translation of which the reader holds in his hand.
The translator, Muhammad Al-Sibai, confirms, "When we found a close similarity between what Spencer denied about the education system in his country and what we deny about the education system in our country, we saw it as good to translate it into Arabic, so that we could reap from its fruits what the British nation, the readers of English in general, and the people of the languages into which this book was translated, which are most European languages, have reaped. We have hope that the nation's benefit from the views of that great philosopher will be no less than the benefit of the greatest nations who benefited from him."
