Islamic arts and their influence on European arts

Muslims were influenced by the artistic styles that flourished in Syria, Egypt, Byzantium, Iran, and the countries of the Peninsula, but they quickly transformed them into a homogeneous and proportionate form, and Islamic arts emerged that in turn influenced the arts of the West, an influence that is still apparent today.
As for the links between East and West and the paths taken by Islamic artistic methods to reach Europe, they are Andalusia, Sicily, the Crusades, then the Turkish state in the Balkans and the Archipelago Sea, and the trade of the Italian republics with the cities and ports of the Near East. The Europeans themselves became aware, long ago, of the influence of Islamic arts on Western arts, so they wrote and made comparisons of this influence.
Classes presented by Dr. Zaki Muhammad Hassan are specialized studies, translated by leading European researchers specializing in the subject of the arts and their effects. They sought a great deal of fairness and scientific honesty in them and decorated them with many pictures and "paintings" to facilitate comparison and clarify artistic theories.
