Russian tragedy

Alexander Alexandrovich Zinoviev (1922–2006) - an outstanding sociologist, social philosopher and writer. Before the period of perestroika, Zinoviev was one of the most prominent critics of the Soviet system, was one of the prominent dissidents, and was expelled from the USSR. And in his later works he assessed the destruction of the Soviet system extremely negatively.
