Palace Walk

Palace Walk- The first part of Naguib Mahfouz's famous trilogy, where he describes the life of Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Gawad and his family during World War 1 and the 1919 revolution. The novel was published in 1956 and was adapted to screen in 1964, after which the title "Si El-Sayed" gained a broader connotation than the fictional character itself.
