Through The Eyes Of A Heart is a collection of poems about loss and luck, finding and longing, heartbreaks and healing.

Julia Mertins was born in Frankfurt a. M. in 1991 as the middle child in between two siblings. She lived in the City of Berlin and spent 2 years abroad in Chicago, IL working as a professional AuPair.
Currently she is living and working in Hamburg.

Most of the inspiration originates from being in touch with silence, nature and people.
