Journals of Robert Rogers of the Rangers

Journals of Robert Rogers of the Rangers is the firsthand account of British/American colonial frontiersman, major Robert Rogers. In his diary Rogers covers the period from 1755 until 1761 during which he raised and commanded the famous Rogers' Ranger, a famous company trained for raiding and close combat behind enemy lines.

Robert Rogers (1731–1795) was an American colonial frontiersman. Rogers served in the British army during both the French and Indian War and the American Revolution.
