The coming end of an Empire

In this work I argue that the United States of America are doomed to perish due to the decadent and egoistic neoliberal spirit in the USA.
This neoliberal spirit results in a growing gap between rich and poor,
an extraordinarily high budget deficit, pollution of the environment, racial tensions and a dangerously aggressive foreign policy.

I am a legal historian, whose two legal history monographies "At the Instigation of the Devil": Capital Punishment and the Assize in the early modern England, 1670-1730 and Crime and Punishment in the Royal Navy of the Seven Years` war, 1755-1763 are now part of many academic libraries worldwide.
