In the book, Calvin strongly criticizes what he believes are unorthodox teachings and the policy of the Catholic Church. The book considers the knowledge of God the Creator and the creation of a man. John Calvin was a French priest, theologian and one of the greatest leaders of the Protestant Revolution. He created the basics and methods of the Christian theologian movement, which was named in his honor Calvinism. Calvin was also a prolific writer, with Institutes of the Christian Religion being his most important work.
