Golden wedding

Fragon's lieutenant, a young officer without fortune, overwhelmed by debt, resigned himself to contracting a very rich marriage. Max the Veuzit is the pen name of Alphonsine Zéphirine Vavasseur, born in Petit-Quevilly 29 October 1876 and died in Bois-Colombes 15 April 1952. It is a French language writer, author of numerous romance novels with great success.
