This cumulative dissertation comprises three scientific articles that empirically examine how digital technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, advance our understanding of and experiences in online resale markets. Fueled by technological advances, resale markets offer an alternative to new product purchases and increasingly have the potential to transform conventional consumption mechanisms.
