The lay organization Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International, founded by Demos Shakarian (1913-1993), has thousands of local chapters worldwide and is represented in nearly one hundred countries. However, it remains a subject of historical inquiry which businessmen were present at the inaugural breakfast meeting at Clifton's Cafeteria in Los Angeles on October 13, 1951. The objective of this study is to illuminate the founding myth and to identify the names by utilizing all available sources.

Author Roy Weremchuk is 41 years old, of German-Canadian origin, and is married with two children. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology while training at the police academy and is the deputy head of an investigative unit at the Rheinpfalz police headquarters in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
